Well, we dropped all of our loan information off on Friday afternoon, so it is officially out of our hands. Lynn said that we should know in 10 days, yay or nay. We have been staring at the house plan/layout and daydreaming about how we are going to finish it. Dangerous, because it will be so much more disappointing if it doesn't go through, but we can't resist. There is a door at the top of the stairs, so it will be just like a regualr 2 bedroom house until we finish the second floor. I drove by today to check out a tree that Kyle told me about. He is right. It is very cool. It is the perfect kind of tree to hang a swing from. Or a big hammock chair. I have been obsessing about this hammock chair for some reason. Strange.

Yesterday I climbed up on the big A ladder and harvested a huge bunch of cherries for a pie, about 7.5 cups pitted. Erica baked a pie this morning and I have about 3 cups of pitted cherries in the freezer waiting for another harvest and another pie. I am also going to cook up a bunch of our kale and spinach to go with the chicken and red beans and rice Kyle is making. BBQ chicken, red beans and rice, kale and spinach and cherry pie. Mmmmm... And to top off the evening, the Sopranos and Big Love season finales are on-the last good tv before the long stretch of summer where we should all be outside anyway.

Tomorrow we are going to ahve folks over for knitting and I am going to attempt to set the bounce house up for the kids if it is nice. Tomorrow is also Kyle's first day of class. Unfortunately, he still has 3 work days left, so tomorrow and Wednesday he'll be at the high school until 3 and then in class from 4-9. Yuck.

I went to the bookstore today and bought HTML 4 For Dummies. I am already feeling in over my head. The new site goes up any time now, so I need to get on the ball with figuring things out. I think I am going to stock the Hyena Cart mid-week this week, so I'll be a busy little bee. I am almost done with the little toddler bad I am working on. I am hoping people will like them and it will be something a little different for me to do. The one I am working on right now is a rainbow bag and I am thinking about putting a tiny little skull and bones on the side. I haven't decided yet.

Uh, I am being pages to get the kale on...

Well, lately when we go out Henry wants to take a few cars or trains or something with him. It isn't enough stuff to make him wear his backpack, but it is enough that he is constantly dropping things all over the place. So I am knitting him a tiny little across-the-chest bag to put little stuff in to carry around with us. I'll post a picture when it's done :)
