Okay, I just got around to looking up the requirements for being a substitute teacher here. I kind of assumed they'd be similar to the Ann Arbor/Ypsi requirements. Nope. You have to take a 30 hour class that costs $75! Then, after that hullabaloo you only get paid $7/hr pre-taxes. Um....I don't think so. I called my old manager Missy from Gymboree to see if she needs anyone there or at the other kids' store she works at. I made $7/hr there and that would be WAY easier than subbing! I guess it's back to the classifieds for this girl. I should have no problem finding a job 3 days a week that pays decently for someone who's been out of the job force for 4 years. Riiiiiiiight.
